Our first submissions deadline is THIS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27TH! ❗️❗️❗️ Submit your short stories, poems, comics, prints, music, photography, and art for the opportunity to be featured in our magazine! 📝 Check out the link in our bio for more info (and the gorgeous covers of last year’s publication for some creative inspiration 🤩)

📖 Giuliana (Junior, Aerospace Engineering major, Creative Writing minor) recommends Not That Bad by Roxane Gay: “This is an anthology of pieces about rape culture that focuses on the stigma surrounding it and how it affects or plays into mental illness. The book overall is really about empowering survivors and validating their emotions without shying away from the topic, and the quality of the writing and the emotion of each piece is really jaw dropping. Now that the school year is in full swing, our staff is so excited to share our favorite summer reads! 📖 Elly (Junior, Sociology major & Creative Writing minor) recommends Fresh Girls by Evelyn Lau: “This is a series of short stories told from the perspectives of young women about their sexual encounters. Evelyn Lau is especially gifted with her use of imagery to create beautiful raw stories that everyone can connect to. Read this book for a good cry!”
